Our museum has hundreds of artifacts, including weapons, documents, uniforms, models, letters, clothing, photos, etc. Unfortunately, we have lost our physical building, and our collection is in storage.

This unusual Type 1 Japanese Carcano rifle was donated. The Japanese Imperial Navy had turned to Italian arms manufacturers to produce rifles during the late 1930’s. These rifles look and handled like a Type 38 rifle with a Carcano bolt action

The Japanese Navy was trained by the British Navy and adopted the officers use of ceremonial daggers. The dagger became a symbol of the officers’s soul, social status and authority. They were worn on ceremonial occasions. This Navy Dirk is decorated with cherry blossoms , representing the Emperor. The grip is ray skin with triple wire wrap and is very rare.
